Project Summary

FLOURISH is a strategy consulting project developed for the ANUCBS × KPMG Case Competition, proposing a 6-week talent retention program for the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).

The project addresses a critical challenge: despite strong liveability indicators, 62% of ANU and University of Canberra graduates leave the ACT within two years. Through structured problem diagnosis, the strategy identifies three core gaps — opportunity visibility, early employer connection, and city identity.

To address these, FLOURISH introduces an end-to-end retention system built around a See–Engage–Stay funnel. Key initiatives include a centralised Opportunity Map platform, a 6-week Career Sprint accelerator, and a Belonging Pass to strengthen emotional attachment to Canberra.

The solution is designed to be both strategically compelling and operationally feasible, with a clear 6-week launch roadmap and measurable success metrics focused on graduate retention outcomes.
